How to Support a Daughter with a Very Sick Child

My daughter has a very sick child.
Naturally she is overwhelmed, feels guilty, worn out and tired.

She is highly sensitive and despite my wanting to help both morally and physically, she is unwilling to let me do this without us both feeling stressed and tense.

What advice do you have to offer.
Any help warmly received.
