My Bipolar Mother

My mother and I have never had a relationship. My parents were divorced when I was 5 and I lived with my dad in California.

Now I am 25, have a career, live in a beautiful home with my boyfriend, and am extremely happy.

My mother was recently diagnosed bipolar (that explained everything!!!).

She came to california after 25 years to see my new house. I guess it brought back memories of my father because it triggered the bipolar and she began acting strange and jealous in a way.

Anyway she is still stuck in the past and keeps telling me I should have never left your dad blah blah blah. Well she is taking it out on me.
I just cant bite my tongue so I fight back which I know is wrong but I cant help it.

There is just too much going on with her that I dont have the patience to type it all out.......

It felt good to write some of this down though.
