My Mom is the Best Mom in the Universe!

Dear Mom,

Just a note from me for Mother's Day to let you know you are the best Mom on earth, better yet, The Best Mom in this Whole Universe!!!!

I love you through the good times and also through the tough moments we had because I realize what a special bond we have. So thanks for all the gifts you have given me, for all the lessons and for your great care and love.

Being a mother now myself, I understand how many times you have deliberately choosen to let my happiness and well being come first in our family.

I know I was very picky with food and made a mess in the house a lot. And me breaking grandma's vase was an unfortunate accident, but hurt your feelings, I know.
Finding my way through school must have been a big head ache period for you, I'm sure!
Then the outings as a teenager and you could not sleep while I wasn't home yet late at night.
Grounding me did not help a lot.....
Then our discussion on safe sex and having boy friends...those were the days!

But in the end all was well and somehow you let my rebellous streak and free spirit unaffected while guiding me on a more or less safe path to adulthood.

How many worries you have had and how you always wanted the best for me.
Just know that you did an impressive good job and that I feel very very very grateful!

Now you are also taking care for my 2 kids and doing an even better job (from my perspective ;-))) with them.
